The wonderful Support Team are the backbone of The Speak Up Space. They’re the people that listen to, support and signpost the survivors that write into us.
Being a member of the support team requires compassion and empathy. We want everyone who writes into us to have a positive experience and it would be your job to deliver that. The content we receive is triggering and highly sensitive and it is for that reason we only accept applicants over the age of 18 for this role.
Social Media Team
Are you passionate about using social media for a good cause? If so, the social media team is for you! This team runs our social media channels for The Speak Up Space. They’re the ones figuring out how we can best reach more people and in turn help more people! We want to keep the pages looking fresh, accessible and interesting to please our current followers and to entice new ones.
The content team are the wonderful people who write all the posts going up on the website and our social media channels. You’ll be doing everything from finding facts, to busting myths to writing articles and blog posts. If you’re passionate about writing and research then the content team might just be the thing for you! No writing experience is required, just a passion for what we do here at The Speak Up Space.
The creatives team are behind all of the beautiful illustrations, artwork and infographics you see on our social media channels and website. We are looking for talented artists and graphic designers to keep The Speak Up Space looking exciting! This is a great way to build up your portfolio and experiment with new mediums.
